CitiScape Sponsors “Living Wall”

ClementinaCares and Yerba Buena Community Benefit District (YBCBD) have been working on a special neighborhood project for more than a year. And last night, the LIVING WALL, a community vertical garden project, was unveiled.

Willie L. Brown Jr., District 6 Supervisor Jane Kim and neighborhood leaders and volunteers were in attendance to celebrate the completion of the project and to thank donors and sponsors. CitiScape, a proud sponsor, was also represented at the event. CitiScape’s Robert Simms, who manages a property in the immediate area on Clementina Street, and Jack Gallagher, Senior Property Manager, were also in attendance.

“This project was conceived, designed and developed by internationally acclaimed landscape architect Paul Kephart, Owner of Rana Creek, who also produced the “Living Roof” at the California Academy of Sciences museum in Golden Gate Park and whose team is now working on the “Roof Park” for the exciting new Transbay Terminal.”
