One Warm Coat Drive + Hands of Hope Outreach Toy Drive

This year, CitiScape is not only sponsoring one charitable drive, but three! Our SF Food Bank Food Drive was a success, with our food bin overflowing at collection time last Wednesday (hooray!). And now, looking to December, we will be participating in the One Warm Coat Drive as well as the Hands of Hope Outreach Toy Drive! The drives will be active beginning November 29th through to December 20th.

Most of us have been in a situation at some point when we were cold and didn’t have on the right clothing to stay warm. It’s an uncomfortable and disorienting feeling that leaves you unable to think about much else, other than how cold you are. Sometimes a warm coat is all it takes to ease a burden and warm a heart – especially during the winter months. We have chosen the Kenneth Harding Jr. Foundation located at 4917 Third Street to receive our donated coats.

We will be collecting NEW, unwrapped toys for less fortunate children of all ages on behalf of The Hands of Hope Outreach Toy Drive. The mission of both organizations is to collect coats and toys for residents of the Bay View/Hunters Point community. Donation bins will be located at CitiScape on the 2nd floor reception area and will be clearly marked.

Thank you for giving to those in need this holiday season!
